Since the dough is steamed it was a bit chewy in a way I wasn't terribly fond of. Good flavors through & tasty chutneys. A LOT of filling food. Good for sharing.

Idli was very plain unflavored rice pillows that were good for dipping. Vada was good but needed a vinegar based chutney to better enjoy. Very plain. Nice crispy exterior.

Only docked pt cause Dosa was a bit chewy. Otherwise, flavors/spices/filling excellent. Different presentation than other places as well maybe why chewy?

Crispy fried shrimp were great & the battered sweet potato strings were pretty delicious too. The dipping sauce was perfectly complimentary. Great appetizer.
